In the first ten months of this year, Turkey's steel mill's capacity utilization was 55%, decreasing by 10.4% year on year. Meanwhile, the crude steel output decreased by 8.8% year on year to 27.5 million tons, which reflected the lockout and high energy prices after the earthquake in February.

The World Steel Association indicated that the inflation of most major economies is easing. The speed of increasing interest rate slows down. Besides, according to the Purchasing Managers Index (PMI), the production, new orders, and new export business were expected to recover slightly.
