US confirms final subsidy rates for South Korea’s cold-rolled steel

According to the final results of countervailing duty (CVD) administrative review on certain cold-rolled steel flat products (cold-rolled steel) from South Korea, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined certain producers/exporters from the country received countervailable subsidies during the period of review from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022.

Among them, Hyundai Steel Company received a subsidy rate of 2.21%, POSCO/POSCO International Corporation was assigned 1.47%, and KG Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd. got 1.73%.
