The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has extended its anti-dumping (AD) duty on galvanized rolled steel imports from China and Ukraine for another five years, effective until June 9, 2030.

This decision was made following the results of an AD review initiated by the Department for Internal Market Protection on September 2, 2024, based on an application from Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) producers.

The AD duties, originally imposed in December 2019, will remain unchanged. The duty rate varies from 12.69% to 17% of the customs value for China, depending on the company, and 23.9% for Ukraine. Besides, the price commitments for several Chinese companies were also approved in the decision.

The products involved are cold- and hot-rolled hot-dip galvanized flat products, under HS codes 7210 49 000 1, 7210 49 000 9, 7210 61 000 0, 7212 30 000 0, 7212 50 610 0, and 7225 92 000 0.
