It is reported that Severstal’s 10-16mm steel reinforcing bars has been approved by German Certification Authorities in compliance with DIN 488 requirements.

The certified reinforcing bars are 10mm, 12mm and 16mm diameter bars manufactured at Cherepovets Steel Mill which part of the Russian Steel division.

The company plans to be certified for the full range of 40mm diameter reinforcing bars at the end of this year. The certification will expand Severstals’ market and improve the logistical delivery as well.
