Brazil’s wire rod exports jumped by 206% month on month to around 32,000 tons in July, driven by strong shipments to the US (nearly 19,000 tons) and South American nations (12,000 tons). 

In the given month, the main exporter was ArcelorMittal, which shipped around 31,000 tons. 

In terms of imports, Brazil’s wire rod import volume soared by 86% month on month to 3,100 tons in July. Imports from China accounted for the largest proportion, totaling 2,700 tons.
