ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail (AMTPJ) has granted a contract to Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering for the expansion of its seamless steel pipe heat treatment and finishing line in Saudi Arabia.

This project is a key investment in the kingdom's industrial growth, meeting its Vision 2030 by localizing advanced technology and strengthening supply chains for the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Sinosteel will manage the engineering, procurement, and construction, with Tenova supplying the finishing technology.

Construction is scheduled to begin in December 2025. This expansion will increase the kingdom’s capacity for seamless steel solutions, including pipes for the oil and gas industry.
