According to Brazil’s customs data, Brazil's imported around 13,900 tons of carbon steel wire rods in September this year, decreasing by 29.3% compared to the previous month while surging by 6,471% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the imports from Ukraine accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 9,800 tons. Turkey ranked second with roughly 3,000 tons.

In the first nine months of this year, Brazil’s carbon steel wire rod imports amounted to approximately 209,200 tons, soaring by 1,372% year on year.
