Ukraine’s iron ore exports increase in Jan-Apr y-o-y

According to statistics from Ukraine Customs, the country’s iron ore exports amounted to approximately 14 million tons in the first four months of this year, sliding by 8% compared to the same period a year ago.
The export value totaled roughly US$2.34 billion during the period, a year-on-year increase of 89%.
Among them, China accounted for the largest shares of the total value with 44.3%, followed by the Czech Republic’s 9.2% and Poland’s 8.9%.
In April alone, Ukraine’s exports of iron ore and iron ore concentrate had a year-on-year decline of 16.7%, reaching 3.5 million tons.
