According to the final results of the expedited sunset reviews of anti-dumping (AD) duty orders, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) found that revocation of the existing AD orders on certain hot-rolled steel flat products from Australia, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands, Turkey, and the UK would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at a weighted-average margin of 29.58% for Australia, 34.28% for Brazil, 11.7% for Japan, 11.1% for South Korea, 3.73% for the Netherlands, 24.32% for Turkey, and 33.06% for the UK.

In addition, the USDOC also found that cancelation of the current countervailing duty (CVD) order on the same products from South Korea might lead to the continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at a subsidy rate of 41.64% for POSCO, 3.98% for Hyundai Steel, and 3.89% for all other South Korean exporters and producers of subject products.
