Kocaer Çelik, one of the leading steel profile manufacturers in Turkey, has been approved as a registered steel supplier for the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF)'s Neom megacity project, worth US$500 billion.

With the project, Kocaer Çelik is expected to enhance its steel sales in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. Steel sales in the MENA region accounted for 19% of the company’s international sales in 2022.

Renewable energy resources would be used in Neom, and the construction of the first region of the project was scheduled to be completed this year.
