Taiwan government started to impose provisional anti-dumping duties today on imports of certain flat-rolled steel products, plated or coated with zinc or zinc-alloys from China, Korea and other countries. It would take four months to implement and the period can be extended to six months.

Taiwan’s CSC has imported carbon steel plate from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, South Korea and Ukraine. The Korean mills have been taxed 80.5% which is the highest one; followed by Chinese mills have been taxed from 40.29% to 59.73%.

For galvanized steel, Korea all manufacturers or exporters have been taxed up to 70.25%; followed by Chinese mills have been taxed range between 25.42%~68.33%, respectively.
