It is reported that China’s sovereign wealth fun China Investment Corp (CIC) is again discussing to purchase a minority stake in Australia’s 3rd largest iron ore maker, Fortescue Metals Corp.

CIC will bring investors including Baosteel Group and China Shenhua Steel, the China’s largest coal miner, together to talk about purchase plan especially now the price suits for them.

Fortescue’s share fell about 74.7 percent this year and its share recorded 52 week low last Thursday. Fortescue also said last week that the demand is still strong though the economy slowdown in China.
