Zimbabwe's President Emmerson Mnangagwa announced in the evening on July 13 that the current level 4 lockdown would be extended by another two weeks until July 27 as the COVID-19 infections and deaths continued rising in this country.

The measures of lockdown include shortening the working hours of government departments and commercial organizations, extending the curfew time, banning all intercity travel except for the production and distribution of food and medicines, and so forth.
