India's steel giant Tata Steel announced that its Tata Steel Europe division planned to close steel production in Europe, because of cheap imports would affect the domestic steel market performance. Meanwhile, high electricity costs and Sterling appreciation which would lead to change in market conditions, the company was forced to change its European operations for long products.
