Malaysia’s Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) launched an administrative review of anti-dumping (AD) duties on imports of cold-rolled stainless steel in coils, sheets, or any other form originating in or exported from China, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The start of this administrative review was based on information received by the government regarding the fact that the applicant Bahru Stainless Sdn Bhd stopped production on June 30, 2024.

Interested parties in this administrative review could provide written comments and other supporting evidence to the MITI by November 15, 2024. If there is no necessary information provided by interested parties or no information or comments received within the specified period, the government would make decisions based on available facts.

The affected products are classified under HS codes 72193100, 72193200, 72193300, 72193400, 72193500, 72202010, and 72202090.
