It is known that Indonesian government will initiate antidumping investigation against imports of cold rolled (CR) sheets and coils from 4 countries including Japan and South Korea.

It’s said that the Indonesian antidumping action created the impression of possible assailing to Japan.

The Japan-Indonesia public and private steel dialogue was taken place for the first time in Jakarta in February this year. During the meeting, any concerned matters causing trade friction were announced not to be accepted.

It is said that if the antidumping case becomes real, those items such as loams (tin mill black plates) for a joint venture between Japan and Indonesia will be certainly exempted.
