India’s SAIL partners with McKinsey for digital transformation program

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), an Indian state-owned steel company, has signed a strategic agreement with McKinsey & Company India LLP for a comprehensive digital transformation program.

This cooperation aims to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and technological innovation by integrating artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and data analytics.

Covering the entire process value chain from mines to marketing, the project targets value realization of Rs 1,000 crore annually over three years while complying with the highest standards of security and compliance.
