Siemens has signed a contract with JSC Electrometallurgical plant, Dneprospezstal, in Ukraine to supply new electric arc furnace along with cooling water treatment plant.

JSC Dneprospezstal is a leader in production of special steel products including powder made steel, bearing and alloy structural steel products used in the manufacturing of machinery parts, tools, seamless pipes, and bearings.

This project aims to boost total capacity to 540,000 ton of liquid steel per year.
