On October 11, 2024, the Turkish Ministry of Trade made an affirmative final determination of the anti-dumping (AD) investigation on hot-rolled flat steel products from China, Russia, India, and Japan.

According to the ruling, the subject products from the four countries were sold at dumped prices and injured the Turkish industry. Therefore, the AD duty rate was assigned 15.42-43.31% to China, 6.10-9.00% to Russia, 6.10-9.00% to India, and 9.00% to Japan.

This AD measure will be effective for five years.

The AD investigation was launched in October last year based on the application from the Turkish steel producers.
