Dragon Steel Corporation (DSC), one of the structural steel section manufacturers in Taiwan and a subsidiary of China Steel Corporation (CSC), reported that its revenue totaled around NT$7.8 billion in August, sliding by 26.2% compared to the previous month and also dropping by 32.64% from the same month a year ago.

In the first eight months of this year, DSC’s revenue amounted to roughly NT$80.45 billion, a slight increase of 1.36% over the corresponding period last year.

DSC lowered its H-beam price by NT$300/ton in August, the price cut for the second month, which has impacted the company’s revenue.
