Gloria Material Technology Corp. (GMTC), the largest specialty alloy manufacturer in Taiwan, reported that its consolidated revenue was around NT$605.9 million in April, decreasing by 8.1% from the previous month and also sliding by nearly 6% from the same month a year ago.

The cumulative consolidated revenue in the first four months of this year amounted to approximately NT$2.37 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 18.48%.

According to Gloria, due to the worsening COVID-19 epidemic in India and the shortage of containers, some deliveries were delayed, leading to a month-on-month reduction in Gloria’s revenue in April.

However, the strong demand in the livelihood and steel industry caused Gloria’s order volume to hit a new high in April.
