Due to the strong demand for scrap in Vietnam in the past week, coupled with China’s willingness to purchase billets from Vietnam and Indonesia, Vietnam’s scrap import prices have risen accordingly, which gave support to the scrap market.

According to local traders, the demand for Japan’s scrap was not high, while customers have accepted the increased prices in the current market.
