Yieh Phui Enterprise Co., Ltd.’s (Yieh Phui) coating line at its Qiaotou factory quickly resumed operations on the night shift of May 19, just hours after an early morning fire. Overall production and sales weren’t affected by the fire accident.

The fire, reported at 5:21 AM on May 19, was quickly controlled by Yieh Phui itself before firefighters arrived and fully extinguished it by 5:46 AM. Investigations found a pipeline fire with no injuries. After safety checks and cleanup, the production line was back to normal operation the same evening.
