Manaksia Steels Limited, an India-based steel company, has commenced commercial production of its new production line for Aluzinc-coated steel coils/sheets at its Haldia plant in West Bengal, effective June 10, 2025.

The new line, established with an investment of around Rs 85 crore, has an annual production capacity of 110,200 tons. This expansion was expected to increase the company's overall production capacity, leading to improved revenue and profit.

Aluzinc, an alloy of 55% aluminum and 45% zinc coated on cold-rolled steel, is highly valued for its high corrosion resistance and as an excellent substrate for color coating. It can be widely applied to solar structures, roofing, and construction.
