According to a final determination of anti-dumping (AD) orders made by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the imports of certain hot-rolled steel flat products (hot-rolled steel) from Australia and Turkey were being sold in the US market at prices lower than the fair value during the period of review from October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019.

The final weighted-average dumping margin for Turkey was set at 24.32%, much higher than the final rate of 2.73% assigned in October 2020. The dumping margin for Australia’s BlueScope Steel was at 9.94%, which was also higher than the previous final dumping margin of 2.72% set in October 2020.
