According to statistics release by Korea Iron & Steel Association (KOSA), South Korea exported 214,479 tons of steel pipes in September, surged by 27.9% from August and soared by 22.1% year on year.

Among them, the country’s steel pipe exports to the US accounted for above 50% of the total.

However, the country’s average export prices of steel pipe decreased by 3.6% from a month earlier to US$1,443/ton.
