Effective on February 1, NLMK Europe's plate division appointed Askon Demir Çelik as its exclusive partner for the distribution of quenched and tempered plates in Turkey.

NLMK Europe says Quard brand steel plates offer excellent wear resistance for heavy-duty applications in harsh environments. Meanwhile, Quend brand steel plates offer excellent structural resistance for tough applications requiring high-yield strength.

The steelmaker said that the partnership with Askon Demir Çelik is in line with the company's strategy of working with renowned organizations and providing it with full support in areas such as strategy, technical expertise, and marketing.
