It's reported that the United States to strengthen trade protection measures, Malaysia also has imposed anti-dumping duties on stainless steel imports from China, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

Among them, Malaysia intended to impose a 3.66%~23.95% dumping tax on China, the tax rate for Taiwan's Tang Eng Iron Works Co., Ltd was 7.78%, Walsin Lihwa was 2.79%, Yieh United Steel Corp. (YUSCO) and Chia Far Industrial Factory Co., Ltd. was 0%, and other Taiwanese manufacturers was 14.02%.

The dumping rate for China's Taiyuan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was 3.66%, and that for other manufacturers was 23.95%. South Korean POSCO's tax rate was 5.61%; Thai POSCO was 22.86%.

Regarding this verdict, YUSCO said that Taiwan's overall export of stainless steel products to Malaysia was rather limited and the company's exports to Malaysia was a small number. Therefore, it was quite reasonable to obtain a zero tax rate.
