Eramet, a French multinational mining and metallurgy company, said that it was currently researching and seeking the way to increase the manganese ore production capacity of its Moanda mine in Gabon, while the manganese mining activities of the Bangombé mine were continuing.

In the first half this year, Moanda mine’s manganese ore production had a year-on-year increase of 3%. Its production and shipment reached around 1.9 million tons, and the export volume kept steady at 1.5 million tons.

Eramet previously targeted its production and shipment for Moanda mine at 4 million tons this year.
