Poland's JSW reports higher coal and coke production in Q2 2025

Poland-based Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) saw its total coal output rise to 3.34 million tons in the second quarter of 2025, up 16.7% quarter-on-quarter and 16.4% year-on-year. 

Coke production reached 710,000 tons, rising slightly from the previous quarter but down 2.7% year-on-year. Coking coal production stood at 2.82 million mt, marking a 21.4% quarterly and 22% annual increase.

Total coal sales were 3 million tons, nearly flat quarter-on-quarter but up 14.9% year-on-year, while coke sales held steady at 740,000 tons. Coking coal sales grew to 2.62 million mt and internal sales rose to 990,000 tons, up 12.5% quarter-on-quarter.
