According to report, ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steelmaker said it had stopped its plan of €138 million investment in a steel plan in Belgium due to the uncertain future.

The company had closed two blast furnaces and foundry at the site in Liege said last October. And it had also cut 500 jobs and it has other conditions for closure of liquid phase for negotiating with union.

The Liege plant had made about operating losses of €427 million for the past quarters.
