According to data from Anglo American, a globally diversified mining business, it produced around 10.8 million tons of iron ore in the first half of 2019 and expected to produce about 22 million tons in the second half of this year in Brazil.

Even if the company has not yet obtained a license to operate the structure, it would also complete the project on the iron ore waste dam in Conceiçãodo Mato Dentro, Minas Gerais.

One of the most important projects was Minas-Rio, which has now restarted the 529-kilometer long pellet feed slurry pipeline since it ceased operations and iron ore sales in 2018.

The Minas-Rio project was expected to reach its annual 26.5 million tons of iron ore capacity and now was rapidly achieving this goal.
