Driven by the rising scrap and billet prices, foreign steel mills have increased the quotes of steel pipes to Italy.

However, the price of seamless steel pipes in Italy’s local market has still remained unchanged due to slow purchase in Europe.

It’s known that China’s steel mills increase the quotes of seamless steel pipe by €50~€70/ton; Ukraine’s manufacturers raises the quotes by €30/ton.

Even the demand for seamless steel pipes have remained weak in Italy’s market, it’s predicted that Italy’s seamless steel market may continue the upward trend in the near future supported by the rising raw material costs.
