According to the announcement issued by the Ministry of Finance of Taiwan on July 12th, 2019, Taiwan made a final ruling of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) on certain carbon cold-rolled steel products imports from China.

The main producers and exporters, including China Baowu Steel Group Corp., Ltd., Angang Steel Company Limited (Ansteel), Maanshan Iron and Steel Company Limited, Benxi Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd., Benxi Steel Pohang Cold Rolled Sheet Co., Ltd., Hunan Hualing Iron & Steel Group Co. Ltd., Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union Co., Ltd., and all the other Chinese producers and exporters were set at a dumping margin 36.77% and a subsidy rate 51.10%.

Any stakeholder should submit written comments to the investigation authority within 20 days after the issue date of the announcement.

Taiwan initiated an investigation of AD and CVD on Chinese carbon cold-rolled steel products on April 16th, 2018 and made a preliminary ruling of both investigations on May 20th, 2019.
