The world's major stainless steel producer - Outokumpu announced that the company's first steel service center in China has already started its official operation.

This stainless steel service center located in Kunshan, Jianshu Province and the investment value of this project is €20 million.

This service center will supply special stainless steel products; especially the duplex stainless steel products for the demand which coming from energy, petroleum and chemical, transportation and paper pulp industries.

Juha Rantanen, the CEO of Outokumpu said this is their first steel service center in China and the company may consider to increase their investment in the coming future at China market.
