Under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed by Axpo Italia and Tenaris, Axpo will provide Tenaris' Dalmine seamless steel pipe mill in Italy with 15 GWh of certified green energy per year.

CEO of Axpo Italia, a leading producer of renewable energy, said that the medium- to long-term commitment of a leading company like Tenaris demonstrates the willingness to place a conscious vision of corporate sustainability at the heart of its development, while also making a concrete contribution to the establishment of a new renewable production plant in Italy.

The President of Tenaris said that the contract marks another step in Tenaris’ transition to more sustainable production, in line with the company’s 2030 decarbonization goal. The decision to purchase green energy reflects the company’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.
