After the holidays, United States steel market held steady for the time being, but the market is expected as the steel scrap and iron ore prices, steel prices may decline in coming weeks.

At present, the United States rebar prices are at US$560-585/short ton in Midwest, ex-factory price; southeastern steel rebar prices are at US$555~570/short ton, ex-factory price, all remains stable.
