Russian DIA and Profil-Akras have recently merged pipe production equipment to form United Company Akras DIA Ltd. The reason for the merger was the change in market fundamentals and the rapid increase in competition among suppliers.

The new united company owns 10 welded pipelines, which will become the largest manufacturer in the Southern Federal District of Russia. Six light-duty steel mills can use cold-rolled and hot-rolled coil materials to produce round tubes and hollow profiles. The industry experts estimated that it will become the company's main equipment park.

The cold-rolled coil-based pipe products will be mainly oriented to the furniture industry, consumer goods and automotive industry supplies markets, which will become the main source of product added value.
