Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD) made a comment on Section232 that the measure of trade protection would become the barriers for Turkish exporters by limiting the global steel industries’ production capacity and controlling the global steel trade.

The TCUD said that if the United States Department of Commerce's proposal was implemented, it would cause the separation for the steel trade and brought the unfair trade. Moreover, the measure might lead other countries to follow up implementing the relevant strategies, and it also disobeyed the guidelines from WTO.
