Stemcor announced earlier that they had completed the acquisition of Aryan Mining and Trading Corporation.

This acquisition also brought Stemcor into the manganese mining business. Before Stemcor's acquisition since April, 2007, AMTO's gave merely 100,000 tons of manganese annually, while the great growth to 200,000 tons monthly after Stemcor's takeover.

According to Stemcor, India has more manganese demand than supply. Thus, Stemcor has a bright look towards domestic strong demand and expected India's steel production to double in the next 5 years.
