Steel and Tube Holdings, which owns several facilities in New Zealand’s Christchurch, reported the latest situation after the earthquake.

The company’s branch operations in Christchurch will be closed for days to allow the assessment to take place.

Meanwhile, it’s known that the company’s major sites have not been affected by this earthquake; however, a number of other facilities have damage; moreover, some have suffered from the loss of power, water and communications.

Also, Steel and Tube Holding are helping customers and community repair the damaged part, while delivery of product might be a problem due to breakdown of transportation.

The company has approximately 120 employees in the Christchurch area and so far no injury and negative financial impact on the business have been reported.
