The shareholders from SKF, Rautaruukki, Wartsila Corp will be selling their operating companies owned by the Oy Ovako joint venture. The companies signed an agreement to sell theoperating companies for €600 million. The long steel venture was set up in May last year. SKF and Wartsila each hold a 26.5 percent share with the remaining 47 percent share owned by Rautaruukki. The buyers are the shareholders from Hombergh Holdings BV, WP de Pundert Ventures BV and Pampus Industrie Beteiligungen GmbH & Co KG. The transaction is still pending regulatory approval and is expected to be completed by September. (July 18)
