In the first half of this year, Russia exported 1.297 million tons of steel products to the EU, accounting for 38.76 percent of the total quota this year.

Among them, 751,872 tons were hot rolled coils; 113,237 tons were medium heavy plates; 236,549 tons were steel slabs, 42,500 tons were alloy steel, steel sheets and coated steels; 62,518 tons were steel bars; 90,346 tons were steel long products.

In 2011, Russia exported 1.898 million tons of steel products to the EU, acquiring 54.39% of the total quota.
