Reportedly, South Korea’s Posco has decided to establish No. 4 hot rolling mill in local Gwangyang steelwork and a cold rolling mill in India.

The company estimates to complete the new No. 4 hot rolling mill by 2014 with annual capacity of 3.3 million tons.

Furthermore, Posco’s hot rolled coil production is predicted to reach 26.84 million tons by the completion of the new hot rolling plant.

At the same time, the cold rolling mill will be located in Maharashtra State in Western India and estimated to run into production in December 2013 with the annual capacity of 1.8 million tons.
