Norsk Hydro, a biggest aluminum producer which produces aluminum goods across the aluminum value chain in the world. The firm was affected by cyber attack.

Right after the attack, Hydro’s shares went down by 3.4% in early trade before a partial recovery to trade down 0.9% by 1003 GMT. The cyber hit its production facilities including IT systems for most of its activities.

The company closed down some metal extrusion plants. Norsk's smelters in Norway, Qatar and Brazil were under operation manually. Hydro is trying hard to get the issue under controls. The hacker tried to use intelligence to breach its network to steal secrets from the clients.
