Mineral Resources (MinRes), a mining services company in West Australia, has delivered the first ore from its Onslow Iron project. Currently, MinRes Coolibah and MinRes Airlie are loading 113,000 tons of iron ore on a bulk carrier anchored 40 kilometers from the Port of Ashburton. The first batch of Iron ore will be shipped to China for delivery to China Baowu Steel Group.

Onslow Iron is MinRes's flagship US$3 billion project, which has unlocked a new iron ore mining region for Australia. Meanwhile, it will lead Mineral Resources to transform into low-cost, long-life iron ore operations.
