Japan’s steelmaker Kobe Steel announced that a new continuous hot-dip galvanizing line (CGL) at its Kakogawa Works has been officially put into operation.

The new No. 3 CGL has an annual designed production capacity of 240,000 tons, with a continuous annealing line equipped with hot-dip galvanizing and galvannealing lines, which can produce cold-rolled sheets and galvanized sheets, so as to fulfill the future demand for ultra-high-strength steel plate in the market.
