Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. has declared that they will invest $2.3 billion to establish an integrated steel plant in Bolivia. This steel plant represents JSPL’s first abroad development and possibly to be commissioned for the next five to seven years. JSPL has planned to spend $1.5 billion for the first five years and $2.3 billion in total for next 10 years. There would be a capacity of 1.7 million tons on long products, 6 million tons on DRI and sponge iron and 10 million tons on pellet plant for this new steel factory. (June 4)
