Recently, India's Tata Steel Plant, one of the leading steelmakers in the world, has further increased the price of pig iron by Rs 1700/ton, which was the second increase within a month.

Prior to this, the price of basic pig iron had been already raised by Rs 1300/ton.

With the rising trend of the billet prices and the tight supply of pig iron in the market, both encouraged the pig iron supplier to further increase their offer prices.
