Adani Group, an Indian multinational conglomerate, has a diversified portfolio of businesses in energy, logistics and transport, and cement. The company announced last Friday that it would build a value-added iron ore integrated steel plant in the eastern state of Odisha.

The iron ore integrated steel plant will include an iron ore processing plant, which would be located in Dehar in the northern region of Odisha, and a pellet mill, which would be located in the Town of Dhamra Port.

The iron ore processing plant was expected to have an annual production capacity of 30 million tons, mainly producing iron ore concentrates and pellets. In addition, the company also planned to build a slurry pipeline for iron ore transportation.
